Arelion has confirmed a fibre cut caused by third-party roadworks about 9 km from the site. A splice crew has been dispatched. We are operating on the second carrier plus the exchange for the duration, with headroom for peak traffic.

The Arelion uplink in AMS went down at 21:04 UTC. Traffic failed over to Lumen and NL-ix within seconds; capacity is reduced but no machine is unreachable. Arelion reports a loss of light on the metro fibre.
